Photograph - Photograph Of Body Paint
Description
This body painting by Angela Rene' Roberts began just before local authorities announced an order to cease all non-medical services involving people in close proximity during the threatening COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus outbreak March 20th 2020. The painting and photography concluded before the order was in effect. As an addition to her Sistine Chapel Alive series, the Coronavirus outbreak reminded Angela of Michelangelo’s “Worship of the Brazen Serpent” created in 1511. Angela’s rapidly-created likeness of the Master’s work was more specifically inspired by the demise of those who reject what they shouldn’t.
We both extend a deep appreciation for Stephanie Trosclair as the living canvas and her supportive husband Christopher.
